ASSISTANT — ROLE-SPECIFIC TERMS

These terms apply to anyone registering as an Assistant and supplement the General Terms of Service.

1. Role of the Assistant

An Assistant helps an Animator teach a lesson.

The Assistant’s duties include:

  • classroom support;
  • helping Learners;
  • supporting conversation activities;
  • helping with pronunciation practice;
  • attendance assistance;
  • technical assistance;
  • preparing lesson materials;
  • supporting group activities.

2. Supporting the Animator

The Assistant follows the Animator’s reasonable instructions.

The Assistant does not disrupt lessons or undermine the Animator’s authority.

3. Professional Conduct

Assistants treat Learners, Animators, Helpers and venue staff with respect.

Assistants maintain proper professional boundaries with Learners.

4. No Independent Teaching

An Assistant is not the lesson teacher unless authorized.

Assistants must not:

  • say they are the lesson teacher;
  • change the lesson without permission;
  • make promises for the Platform;
  • claim teaching skills they do not have.

5. Learner Information

Assistants get Learner information while supporting lessons.

This information is confidential and used only for Platform or lesson needs.

6. Attendance and Cancellation

Assistants attend assignments at agreed times.

If unable to attend, notify the Platform or Animator promptly.

Repeated no-shows may lead to suspension of Assistant privileges.

7. Venue Conduct

Assistants follow venue rules and leave the space clean.

8. Acceptance

By registering as an Assistant, you confirm you understand the supporting role and agree to these terms.
